Sachin Tendulkar Vs Brad Hogg Challenge

Brad Hogg is a left arm wrist spinner or Chinaman bowler. He played for Australia in the absence of Shane Warne when Warne was banned from International cricket because of taking drugs. Along with his bowling he is capable lower order batsman and excellent fielder. His highest score was 79 against India in 2008 at Sydney cricket ground. Along with 17 test matches he played 123 One Day International and took 156 wickets with an average of 26.84.

Brad Hogg said he will never forget the moment when he bowled Sachin Tendulkar in the 3rd One Day International at Hyderabad in Australia’s tour of India.

Tendulkar was bowled by Brad Hogg for 43 runs off 71 balls

He was very jubilant after getting the proud wicket of Tendulkar and said it is honor for him to play against Sachin Tendulkar and dismissed him because he is a great batsman. He took photo of the dismissal and asked Tendulkar to sign for him. Tendulkar signed the photograph for Hogg and under his signature wrote “this will never happen again Hoggy”. Hogg said Indians have the reputation for playing spinners well but he was not under pressure and did not feel tense while bowling to them. He said, he is extremely fit because of that longer spells did not affect him.
